£0.4M Hangar Equipment Contract Commences Delivery
Newbow Aerospace officially announce that it has commenced delivery on a milestone aviation contract worth £0.4 Million (Sterling).
The overall contract package consists of a substantial, two hundred and ten (210) aviation hangar associated product lines that will be supplied direct into the brand new Hamad International Airport Maintenance Facility, Doha, Qatar.
For the past 12 Months, Newbow Aerospace have engaged closely with Qatar Airways and HIA with the design, trial and now, total supply of aviation hangar associated equipment.
The complete hangar equipment package consists ; Aircraft engine fan blade storage systems, flap track fairing racks, aircraft leading edge panel racks, mobile job boards, 1-tonne load rated maintenance trestles, engine cowling paint stands and dolly’s, aircraft wheel hub paint stands, radome dolly’s, mobile aircraft brake pack stowage and transportation systems and mobile aircraft wheel storage and transportation systems.
All equipment has been fully designed (CAD), 3D modeled and fabricated by Newbow Aerospace at it’s UK based offices. Once initial trial samples were signed-off by the end user a firm contract and order was agreed between both parties.

Undisclosed Client Selects Newbow GSE Package
Newbow Aerospace further enhance their status as a leading aircraft ground support equipment manufacturer with yet another substantial ground support equipment package being taken by an undisclosed recipient.
The undisclosed client selected the OEM’s ground support equipment (GSE) based on market leading quality, reliability and long term performance.
This specific GSE package consisted of;-
> Four (4) x 4-bottle easy-load nitrogen service carts complete with the new hydraulically operated cylinder stowage tray
> Two (2) x Aircraft wheel and brake service support trailers with on-board certified nitrogen set-up and supply. The new design trailers also feature the single rear ramp door with minimal gradient for easy jack loading.
> Four (4) x Aircraft wheel & brake change dolly’s
> Wide body aircraft wheel chocks
> Tyre inflation and checking apparatus
