Tiffany Shaw, Key Account Manager for Newbow Aerospace joined the company in February 2016. Learn more about the aspects of her role, the challenges it brings, the highlights and more.
Tell us more about your role as Key Account Manager?
I currently manage and support existing customers within the UK & Europe, offering aftersales support, as well as developing new business from these existing customers. Generating new sales and accounts, informing new customers of our company product portfolio, attending trade shows and networking is also part of my role.
What’s been your biggest challenge at Newbow Aerospace so far?
Getting to grips with our product part numbers was a challenge at the beginning as well as learning and retaining technical detail. Keeping one step ahead of our competitors is an on-going challenge and one I enjoy.
What has been your highlight at Newbow Aerospace so far?
During the 2 years I have been with Newbow Aerospace I have secured many new accounts and orders, however gaining a sizeable order from Flybe this year and working alongside such a great team was definitely a highlight for me.
What aspects of your role do you enjoy the most?
Visiting my customers and maintaining my relationship with them. Attending trade shows and the networking events can be very enjoyable.
As Key Account Manager for Newbow Aerospace what’s your focus for 2018?
We are continually improving our products and adding to our product portfolio. Informing new and existing customers of these developments and ensuring health and safety is at the forefront, will remain my primary focus.
Tell us a little about yourself?
I enjoy the gym and running and attend a running club a couple of times a week, this helps balance my passion for Prosecco at the weekend.
What was your first ever job?
I worked in my Aunties Newsagents for 50p an hour!
Favourite travel spot?
The Greek islands, Mykonos being my favourite.
